[Review] ITOH Low Molecular Collagen Powder

Today I'm gonna do a review on ITOH Low Molecular Collagen Powder.

ITOH Low Molecular Collagen Powder was extracted from healthy pigskin and cartilage, which are tested by Japan SPF standards. Besides, fat and gelatin are removed thru high purification technology.

My review:
I used just one sheet to remove all my makeup (even my waterproof eye makeup)! Love how well each sheet of Biore Cleansing Oil Cotton Facial Sheet is soaked now. Each sheet is now loaded with more of the makeup removal solution but they are not soaked to the extend where they become messy. You can tell how well soaked they are just by squeezing it - you will be able to see the solution dripping out of the cotton sheet. The best part was that it is not sticky at all, leaves my skin moist and my skin is not sensitive to it!

[Review] Elizabeth Mott It's So Big Volumizing Mascara

Elizabeth Mott It's So Big Volumizing Mascara

"A unique formula that lengthens and curls your lashes without smudging!"

How true is that? I decided to give it a test ;)

Elizabeth Mott. The Company.

Founded in 2009 in New York City, Elizabeth Mott LLC is a beauty company to great products such as Lash Card and It's So Big volumizing mascara.

The company name, Elizabeth Mott, combines two famous New York City streets Elizabeth Street and Mott Street. These streets are part of the trendy shopping district of NoLita (North of Little Italy). I spent a lot of time in NoLita finding inspiration from getting lost in the fashion boutiques and people watching.

The brush has an hourglass shape with long and short bristle pattern.

It is able to pick up a just nice amount of mascara on the brush, not too much or too little.

Tried and applied one coat of the mascara after curling my lashes.

Lengthen? Yes. But not a lot.

Volumize? Yes. My lashes looked thicker and more defined.

Had the mascara on the whole day and it did not smudge at all!

I had it on in the morning, helped cleaned the house in the noon,

went out at night and it actually didn't smudge at all!

Plus points for that! :)

P.S I didn't put on makeup to do house chores.

I had wanted to go out in the noon but it was cancelled

so I stayed at home without removing my makeup since I was going out at night.

And grandma made me help out with the house chores since it was after the exams.

Here's how the mascara looked on my lashes :)

It's not bad a mascara since it did not smudge on my oily lids.

LoveMore is another brand that has good well soaked masks!

Love how they have such eye patches.

Great for days where I want to apply my DRx Anti Blemish Mask on my full face,

but at the same time still want to hydrate my eyes.

3. Silkygirl Gentle Eye & Lip Makeup Remover

This is a 25ml sample Bottle.

Tried this makeup remover and it really does remove waterproof makeup :)

4. Laneige Time Freeze Essence

It's a small 5ml sample size bottle. Have yet tried it out.

I guess sample size products are great for traveling but not for reviewing.

Cause skincare usually don't happen overnight.

5. Talika Eye Decompress

Talika has awesome products!

The packaging is super small and portable.

I think it is great for on flight use!

All you have to do is to pop the paper mask into the solution you are ready to use the mask.

The mask is soothing and hydrating :)

6. Shu Uemura Gloss Unlimited Lip Gloss

Love Shu Uemura's Lip Gloss!

It's really smooth and moisturizing.

Not overly sticky too.

7. Keratase Elixir Kultime

Vanity Trove has been giving this repeatedly as a bonus item for the trove.

Will not be reviewing this product as I have done so before.

Awesome cleansing wipes!

Such wipes really comes in handy. I always use them before using my actual makeup remover.

And it came just in time cause I finished using the one I got from my previous trove =P

2. APIVITA Acne Fighting

Cleansing Sytem ( Set of 3 )

I would love to try out this set of products.

But I'm now with DRx and it is really helping my skin.

So I won't be using this set of APIVITA products.

Will most likely give them to someone I know.

3. Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion

Love this product! It looks natural on the skin.

I would say the coverage is light to medium.

I love how it gives a smooth and dewy finish.

It doesn't control oil well though.

But it can easily be solved by covering with a layer of powder.

So no issues with that ;)

4. Goldwell Style Sign Full Rebel

From my blog posts, I believe you all can tell I don't style my hair.

My hair is always straight reason being, even if I curl, it also ends up straight.

It just loves being straight. The only time I had my hair curled successfully was when I went to a salon.

So yes, I did not use this product too.

5. Dove Damage Therapy

I quite like this product cause the scent isn't super strong and it does leave my hair smooth.

Also the packaging is nice (addicted to pretty packagings).

But… it can be a lil oily at the end of the day.

[Review] Make Up For Ever Pro Finish

Was invited to try out Make Up For Ever's new Pro Finish foundation

Their shop is super pretty! I love the makeup area!

I've always wanted such a make up mirror at home!

Nearly bought one but it never did happen hahas.

MUFE's makeup artist helped me picked my shade.

And… she is super pro! The first shade she picked is the correct one!
She gave me two shades to try, the other was two shades lighter.

Anyways my initial foundation was only removed for half the face.

So for the photo above, left is purely my initial foundation, right is purely MUFE Pro Finish.

After that, MUFE Pro Finish was applied on the other side without removing the initial foundation.

And… it looks as matte and non-cakey! All you have to do is to blot first ;)

Tips when choosing your foundation:

Always go a shade lighter.

Cause whatever you apply on your skin will oxidize.

When it oxidize, the color will turn darker!

See the foundation applied on the right.

It suits my natural color (neck color) right?

While on the left it is the foundation I had on since morning.

It has oxidized and it looked darker than my natural skin tone!

The Pro Finish foundation provides a medium to full coverage.

I was told that it can somewhat give a light coverage too.

For light coverage: use a brush

For medium coverage: lightly swipe with a sponge

For full coverage: dap on with a sponge

Here is my Pro Finish foundation!

I am using 120 Neutral Ivory.

P.S increasing number does not mean it is of a darker shade.

Cause the numbers are arranged according to their tone and color!

I was told that I should be a neutral.

From what I know, you can look at the veins on your wrist to know what is your undertone.

Blue means you have a cool undertone. Green means you have a warm undertone.

For me, I have blueish green veins LOL so I am a neutral I guess.

Also, I was told that can know your undertone by looking at

what type of accessories and lip color looks best on you.

For me, I am ok with both gold and silver accessories.

As for lip color, it would be pink! :)

My overall review:

I love this foundation. It is really smooth and not cakey even though it was later applied over another foundation. This product can be use at a finishing powder too. I think the texture and finish is comparable to those mad expensive high end brands! Also, I love how MUFE made all 25 shades available in Singapore. It is irritating how some brands only bring in like 5 out of 15 colors, thinking that those 5 shades will definitely suit majority skin types. But the moment you have that skin color that it neither here nor there, you can never find a perfect shade with those. But with MUFE's 25 shades Pro Finish, you can surely find a true match regardless of what skin tone and skin color you have ;)

As for this Make Up For Ever Full Cover Concealor,

I'm sure I don't need to intro it anymore.

It has been highly raved in the States (reason why I bought my first).

It covers up really really really well and it is waterproof!

The shade I bought was shade 8 which it no longer my shade.

It used to be my shade when I just came back from the States cause I was tanned then.

But as my skin color slowly lightens, (since that review post) it no longer suit me.

I'm currently a shade 6 hahahas.

Anyways, my study buddy uses this too!

She is super cute. She told me she splashed water on her face after applying this.

And she could see the water droplets on her skin.

I was like "I did that before as well hahahas". It is really waterproof and it won't budge.

Please take my word for this product and get one yourself.

And… do go down to the stores to get help on picking the correct shade!

My review:

All the shades in this palette are really pretty.

The glitter shades are all quite sheer and comes with very fine glitters

so these shades can actually be use as everyday eyeshadows too!

I'm not a fan of huge striking glitters and I prefer such fine glitter eyeshadows.

Those glitter shades may seem a lil rough when I first swatched them on my fingers.

However, when I blend it into my arm, it became really smooth and blends easily.

My Review:
The texture and pigmentation of this aqua rouge is awesome and it does not dry out the lips!
My lips were very dry before I tested this product and the product was able to cover all the cracks.
Also, the glitters are rather subtle. So from far it looks like your lips are glossy, bright and shiny.
I love how this product comes with a matte part and a glossy part.
So I can actually choose and decide the type of finish I want on my lips.

The only downside is that you have to leave it awhile to "dry". Before it dries, it has a sticky texture. But once it is no longer sticky, I tried washing it with water and it would not budge at all!
And do remember to not apply too thick a layer else it might feel a lil clumpy.

Here are the 6 methods of using the mascara!

What I did:

1. Curl my lashes

2. Open the mascara and dap it on a piece of tissue

3. Apply it on my top lashes using technique 2 and bottom lashes using technique 6.

P.S I only applied a coat to get this effect.

My Review:

The mascara is really thick! I feel that it does clump up a lil. But I have no issues with that.

I love how this mascara was able to lengthen my lashes and define it with just one coat!

Just imagine the outcome if I apply a few coats! ;)

Also, the mascara has a great brush. Notice that my inner lashes had mascara on as well?

I could apply the mascara easily with no issues at all. :)

Showed my mummy my eyes and she was like "you put on fake eyelashes ah?" :)

P.S My lashes are thicker at the ends so it looked slightly more clumpy there.
