New Blog Layout!

Usually I change my blog layout on my blog's birthday!

But this year I was really busy then, hence I decided to change it on my birthday! :)
Okays this is a scheduled post. I changed the layout slightly before 31st May =P

I didn't do it from scratch cause I don't understand XML coding at all :/

I've only learnt HTML, CSS, Java, SQL and PHP in school.

So I made used of two paid templates that I like,

took certain parts of the code and customized the rest!

It has a selection menu with more options this time ;)
Also, realized it's a different banner photo?
The banner photo is actually a random image header.
Currently I only have 2 banners though - one old, one new.
Gonna add more when I take new photos!

Just a simple layout but I think I'm gonna keep it this way for quite some time!

As mentioned on my facebook, my first blogpost was written on 24th April 2011.

It started off purely as a "diary" for me to keep records of things that happened in my life

and also do simple sharing of some blogshops that I like (I used to shop on blogshops alot).

Today, my blog has evolved to writing beauty, lifestyle, travel and fashion blogposts!

And...

I bought my own domain!

It used to be www.katelyn-tan.blogspot.com,

but now it is www.katelyntan.sg

Note: the domain no longer has a "-" ;)

Spent more on a .sg domain all thanks to whoever stole the .com domain that i wanted! Roar! Hahas.

Anyways you all can still enter my page using either of the links. They are both connected :)

Revamp! :)

Katelyn-tan.blogspot.com has a revamp today! :)

This blog started out looking like this:

Then on 11 October 2011,

it underwent a revamp and looked like this:

It still had those cute icons that are randomly generated (out of 5)

Today it looks like this:

The main change is that i switch from html codes to xml codes :)

This is so my labels section can be updated automatically :)

And also, i can use the linkwithin feature :)

Currently, I'm still working of the pages row.

Not sure what page I want to put :(
