Above is the full list of ingredients.

Ready for my review? :)

I kept this jar of gel in the fridge so when I applied it, it felt really smooth and cooling. The best part? It's non-greasy at all! This product is definitely suitable for those with oily skin. My skin definitely did become smoother after one application! The gel leaves a smooth and matte finish as shown in the photo above (right) and it's absorbed by the skin rather quickly. I cannot tell if my skin became lighter after one application. But anyways, such lightening products usually have to be used for a period of time before you will notice a difference. I just haven't used it long enough to notice the difference. Hence overall, I think can only comment that it is indeed a good moisturizer!

Hada Labo 3-in-1 Arbutin Whitening Perfect Gel is available at BHG, Guardian, NTUC, OG, Robinsons, Sasa, Unity and Watsons) at the price of $38.90/80g.

Here's something for all you readers! :)

[Review] Hada Labo SHA 'Light' Hydrating Lotion

Thursday, 31 October 2013

Received my Hada Labo SHA Hydrating Light Lotion from SampleStore about a week ago.
P.S SampleStore had a makeover! They now have a pretty website and also a pretty & cute packaging!

Hada Labo has a PERFECT X SIMPLE philosophy where only the finest, purest and highly effective ingredients are used to give you beautiful skin. It's also removes all unnecessary ingredients such as colorant, fragrance, mineral oil and other additives that burden the skin and it's specially formulated for Asian skin.

:: Moistures deeply into all layers of skin.

I think it is more liquid-ish compared to past formulations.
AND... The good thing is that this new formulation is non-sticky at all!

My Review:
I love this product! I think this is the best Hada Labo product thus far. This new light formulation is non-sticky/greasy at all! Also, it is great that it is two-in-one toner and moisturizer as it saves lots of time when it comes to application of skincare.

[Review] Hada Labo Whitening Lotion (New Nano Formula)

Saturday, 18 May 2013

Hada Labo Whitening Lotion (New Nano Formula)
You might think that it is the exact same product that was reviewed here.
But nopes. There was a change in ingredient =P

Tremella Fuciformis Polysaccharide was removed,
while sorbitol and hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid were added to the list of ingredients!

Ingredients:
Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Arbutin, Sorbitol, PPG-10 Methyl Glucose Ether, Methylparaben, Disodium Succinate, Styrene/ VP Copolymer, Sodium Hyaluronate, Succinic Acid, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid

The texture is similar to the one I reviewed previously.

Pros:
:: Skin feels more hydrated and smooth
:: Not so sticky
:: Suitable for acne-prone skin (at least it was for my face)

Cons:
:: Takes awhile to feel non-sticky
It does feel smooth and non-sticky after it is fully absorbed into the skin though.

I love how this product hydrates my skin! Most importantly, when the product is fully absorbed by the skin, it feels non-sticky at all. Another plus point is that it leaves my skin smooth after application. I think this product get absorbed alot faster than the previous one :)

image from hada labo
This product was so well loved by Japanese women that it was the "Number 1" in sales for whitening products in Japan, the Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Lotion combats and prevents dark spots caused by UV exposure for a smooth and clear skin. Along with Hyaluronic Acid, the lotion locks in moisture for the skin to reach its optimal radiance and translucence.

Vitamic C
:: Vitamin C enhances the skin's fairness and repairs dry, dull skin caused by exposure to UV rays.

Hyaluronic Acid
:: Hyaluronic Acid hydrates intensely, keep the skin soft and supple.

Using only the finest and purest ingredients without unnecessary additives, colorant, alcohol, fragrances and mineral oils, Hada Labo's Whitening Range stays true to its PERFECT X SIMPLE brand philosophy.

Directions:
Use twice a day after cleansing face.
Apply on palms and gently pat onto skin until thoroughly absorbed.

Water, Dipropylene Glycol, Glycerin, Arbutin, PPG-10 Methyl Glucose Ether, Disodium Succinate, Methylparaben, Styrene/ VP Copolymer, Tremella Fuciformis Polysaccharide, Sodium Hyaluronate, Succinic Acid, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate

Been a good girl and have been using this product daily for weeks (also the reason why I took so long to do this blog post). Love how this product is able to hydrate my skin, making it feel smoother! Same as what the other Hada Labo lotions does BUT this helps to whiten my skin and make it more radiant at the same time! And the best thing? This new formula is thinner and less sticky!

Pros:
:: Skin feels more hydrated and smooth
:: Not so sticky
:: Suitable for acne-prone skin (at least it was for my face)

Cons:
:: Takes awhile to feel non-sticky
(It does feel smooth and non-sticky after it is absorbed into the skin)

[Review] One Drop Locks Up an Ocean

Sunday, 12 August 2012

Who here wants more hydrated skin?
Something that unlocks younger looking eyes?

I know I would want to!
Was talking to one of my friends about hydrating our skin a few days ago!

So... what brand is able to do this?
It's Hada Labo!

My first advertorial since I came back from USA!
P.S Hada Labo is available in USA too! Saw it in Little Tokyo in Los Angeles!

First up...

Hada Labo Eye Cream
One drop unlocks younger looking eyes.
A combination of 3 types of hyaluronic acid for 3X the hydration power.

Contains:
1. 3 types of Hyaluronic Acid (Super, Nano, Normal) for thorough and deep moisturization;
2. ACTIFLOW ingredient increases blood circulation, lightens dark circles and puffiness;
3. Jojoba Oil smoothens fine lines around eye area.

Just like all Hada Labo products, this eye cream is SIMPLE: pH balanced with no animal derivatives, fragrance, mineral oil, alcohol nor colorant. It is gentle enough even for sensitive skin.

This eye cream is to be used twice daily after applying the Hada Labo lotion by dabbing a small amount under and around the eye area using the fingertips. It has a milky texture - so it wont anyhow flow around and easy to apply :) Regular application of the eye cream will improve the skin texture, wrinkles and puffiness around the eyes.

Hmmm first time applying it. Need to apply for a few more days to feel the effect right?
But it feels nice on my skin :) Not sticky at all. Can give it a try!

Update: Been using the eye cream for a few days. And my eyes area felt more hydrated and less puffy! :)

The Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Eye Cream (15g) will be available at all Watsons nationwide at $21.90 starting from June 2012.

Next up...

Hada Labo SHA Hydrating Lotion
NEW Hada Labo 'Nano' formula penetrates deeper for a fuller hydration.
The super hydration power in had lab has now gone ultra!

New 'Nano' Super Hyaluronic Acid in Hada Labo boosts its hydration power, and now enables full and thorough hydration from skin surface to deep within.

The new 'nano' hyaluronic acid molecule is 1/20 the size of the normal hyaluronic acid's. This enables penetration to areas deep within the skin. The other two hyaluronic acid, 'Normal' and 'Super' hydrate skin closer to the surface. With a superior combination of all three hyaluronic acid (Nano, Super, Normal), Hada Labo Hydrating range can give your skin a deeper and fuller hydration.

It has a watery Gel-like texture, slightly harder to apply compared to the eye cream (since it's watery)

It's my first time using this product too.
Just like the eye cream it takes a few days before any visible effect I guess!
And the best thing is they are giving free samples for this product!

Update: Been using this SHA hydrating lotion for afew days and my skin does feels more hydrated! Why didn't I get this earlier? It could have saved my skin when I was in the states! USA is super dry!

[Review] Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing UV Milk

Saturday, 28 April 2012

I'm here to share with you all a review on...
Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing UV Milk
with SPF50 PA+++
It's Hada Labo's new product this April2012! :)

Here's how the product looks like :)

This multipurpose UV milk has 3-in-1 benefits: UV Protection, Hydration, and also serves as a Make-Up Base
1) With SPF50PA+++, users can be assured of a high, broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB.

Some of you might be thinking: "Why do I even care about the SPF? I don't even use sunblock! How harmful can the UV rays be?"All my dear ladies out there, please do not think this way! It's actually a MUST (I feel) to use sunblock whenever you go out! UV rays can be really harmful to your skin! It is said that can cause skin cancer, discolouration and pigmentation, ageing and stuff! Take a look at the diagram below!

I'm sure all of you want to protect your skin from these right?

2) Like other products in the brand, Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing UV Milk SPF 50 PA+++ reaches deep into the skin to moisturize the skin with three types of Hyaluronic Acid. It locks in moisture for a soft, supple and radiant skin all day.

3) As a Make-Up Base, cosmetics can glide easily on the smoother skin after applying it. The light, water like texture makes it easy for an even application, and is quickly absorbed without stickiness. The UV Milk is transparent, leaving no white residues.

The UV milk is gentle on skin, as it is free of artificial ingredients such as fragrances, mineral oil, alcohol and colorant that may burden the skin. This UV milk also keeps the skin's pH balances and is rigorously tested for low skin irritation. It is suitable for daily usage on the face, neck and body.

Here is the list of ingredients of the product ;)

Me with the product and my dry dry skin :(
My skin is in a super bad condition now due to exams. Been sleeping late and stuff.
Look at my eyebags! Hope the eyebags will disappear on it's own!
But main thing now is the product! :)

Tried the product on my hand first.
See the difference? After applying it looks more hydrated right?
Before that it was so dry! :(

Here's how it looks like.
The texture is really smooth.
Feels just like baby lotion :)

As usual, apply it on five parts of your face.
(that's how I usually apply my products)
Then spread the product out evenly :)

Left: Before using the product
Right: After using the product
Look at how much more hydrated my skin looks!

Happy girl! :)
I love how this product is able to protect my skin from UV rays, moisturize my skin and be used as a make-up base at the same time! Saves me the trouble of applying 3 different products!

Interested in the product?
The Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing UV Milk SPF 50PA+++ is available in a 38ml bottle priced at $19.90, sold Exclusively in Watsons!
